This acrylic painting was inspired by the white city of Minas Tirith in the Kingdom of Gondor from the Lord of the Rings. Originally in books from Middle-earth by J. R. R. Tolkien. Later in Peter Jackson epic fantasy movies (The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King) shot in New Zealand and produced by New Line Cinema. The scenery is where Gandalf is riding on white horse Shadowfax, approaching the white city of Minas Tirith, looking as a fantasy castle or fortress from a magical fairytale realm. This beautiful landmark is made from ancient white stone as a mystical symbol of light. The beautiful fortified castle has a historic medieval look, but the fairy beauty is more like from a dream land, making a lovely fairytale scenery.
